A Shower Past Its Best

Our team was called out to a home in Sutton Coldfield where the customer’s electric shower had become unreliable, with inconsistent water temperature and pressure making it frustrating to use day to day. After assessing the unit, our engineers confirmed it had reached the end of its working life and recommended a full replacement rather than another temporary repair. The customer wanted a straightforward, properly finished job with minimal disruption to their bathroom.

Rewiring and Fitting the New Unit

With the electrical supply safely isolated, we removed the old shower unit and inspected the existing wiring and pipework behind it. A fresh, correctly rated cable was run through to the shower position to bring the installation fully in line with current wiring regulations, and a new electric shower was fitted in its place. Every electrical connection inside the unit was checked, secured and properly earthed, and the water supply was reconnected with care taken to protect the surrounding tiling and finishes throughout.

Tested, Sealed and Ready to Use

Once the new shower was fitted, we thoroughly tested water pressure, temperature control and electrical safety to make sure everything was working exactly as it should before handing it back to the customer. The unit was resealed around the edges to keep the enclosure fully watertight, and the work area was left clean and tidy before our team left site. The customer now has a safe, reliable shower they can depend on every day, finished to the same high standards our team brings to every job across Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham and Solihull.
